Established in 2004, SMAAG came to be out of our desire to give our children every opportunity to grow and excel in a stimulating, safe, hands-on enriched and spiritually-nurturing environment. After 4 years of being in a limiting educational environment, we realized that God was prompting us to do more for not only our children, but for us as a family. We know that when He calls us to something, that He will surely also provide the way. The 2015-2016 school year is our 11th year along this journey.

This website is our way of enabling those who are near and dear to us a practical way of virtually following our school's progress throughout each year in school. Included will be pictures of field trips, academic highlights, events, and other points of interest. Though distance may separate us physically, we welcome you to pull up a chair and join us on this adventure. Please bookmark this site and return back often to see what we’ve been up to.

• Our Eldest is now a published author and illustrator! Her 500+ page sci-fi novel, The Antidiluvians, is available online worldwide in paperback and digitally on Nook, Kindle, and eBook, at all fine book retailers, including Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Here's a link to her book, directly through her publisher, South Main Media. The next novel in the series will be available soon. It is currently in the second round of editing.
  
  
• We have designed an easy-to-use database specifically for assigning and tracking assignments and other products. It's *FREE*, and available for download on our Mindwatering website, by clicking HERE for the download.
  
  
• Both of children's 2015 standardized test scores were completely off of the national charts, far and above their peers across the country. Areas of excel included mathematics, science, and social studies.
  
  
• Our archeological trip overseas to Europe and Asia was amazing!
